Toronto, ON, Canada – April 21, 2014
SceneDoc will be providing their cutting edge mobile software to support the Rockbridge County VA Regional Hazmat Exercise on April 22-24 in Lexington, Virginia. First Responders at the federal, state and local levels from around the region will be participating in the event.
SceneDocs’ mobile investigation and field documentation platform will provide an unprecedented ‘in exercise’ documentation capability ensuring all involved in the event are provided a secure, up-to-the-minute view into events as they unfold, while ensuring all information is documented according to evidentiary standards. From the field to the command and control center, SceneDoc will enable First Responders to capture critical textual based information in dynamic forms along with evidentiary photography and photo annotation capabilities. Ultimately, enabling those outside of the hot zone to have enhanced situational awareness, visibility and decision making capacity that historically has been unavailable in rehearsal exercises or during actual events.
The County is one of many agencies looking at mobile technology like SceneDoc’s to not only increase productivity levels but to improve communication across agencies responding to incidents in the field.
